About Us

About the centre

Chinatown Physiotherapy Centre was established in Haymarket, Sydney in 1987 by Mrs. Rosanna Ng. It is conveniently located in the heart of Sydney Chinatown and can be easily accessed by train, light rail and bus.

Our centre is staffed by physiotherapists with emphasis on hands-on treatments and holistic approach. The initial consultation usually takes between 30 to 60 minutes and subsequent consultations from 20 to 45 minutes.

A medical referral is not essential for physiotherapy. However, if you are under worker compensation, motor vehicle accident, or EPC program, referral from your treating doctor is necessary.

Chinatown Physiotherapy Centre has joined the physiotherapist provider list of the Bupa member first. Bupa members are now able to claim up to 90% of the treatment fee back, depending on the level of cover.

From 8 February 2021, Chinatown Physiotherapy Centre is a NIB First Choice Provider serving customers of NIB, Qantas Insurance, Suncorp Health Insurance, Apia Health Insurance, AAMI Health Insurance and GU Health Insurance with fees recommended or set by NIB First Choice. (** excludes fees covering practitioner Rosanna Ng)

As for HCF members, we have joined the More for Muscles Program which gives HCF members with Extras cover, one fully covered initial assessment and treatment each year, subject to your annual limits and fund rules.

Appointment may be made by telephone or in-person. It may also be useful to give us an indication of your problem when the appointment is being made to enable us to assist you the best we can.

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can re-schedule for another time. Full consultation fee would otherwise be charged for non- attendance without notification.
